Cooling agent WS-12 (CAS 68489-09-8) is a highly active, long-lasting, odorless synthetic cooling agent, belonging to the menthyl amide category. It has a strong cooling effect, lasts for a long time, and is non-irritating. It is widely used in food, cosmetics, and medicine.
Typical dosage: 15–50 mg/kg (ppm level), low cost
When combined with WS-23, menthol, and fragrance, the cooling effect is enhanced and the sensation becomes more gentle.
