    Product Overview

    Guanidine Thiocyanate, CAS No. 593-84-0, is a white crystalline powder that readily absorbs moisture.

    Very soluble in water and polar organic solvents;
    Strong protein denaturant and lysing agent;
    The aqueous solution is weakly acidic, with average stability. It is prone to decomposition under high temperature and strong acid conditions, generating toxic sulfides and cyanide-like gases.
