    Application

    Medicinal Chemistry & Scientific Research
Azulene acts as an important bicyclic aromatic scaffold. Widely adopted in laboratory bioactivity screening, drug precursor design, analytical standard and qualitative identification. Researchers investigate its derivatives for anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidant and antiviral activities for new drug development.

    Organic Optoelectronic Materials
Thanks to outstanding photoelectric performance, it is widely used to prepare organic semiconductor materials, organic photovoltaics, near-infrared absorbing dyes, luminescent probes and organic electrochemical sensors. It is a hot building block for advanced functional material R&D.

    Fine Chemical & Derivative Synthesis
Critical intermediate for synthesis of various azulene derivatives including sodium azulene sulfonate and related azulene active substances.
These derivatives are further used in soothing skincare raw materials, anti-inflammatory additives and specialty fine dyes.

    Cosmetic Raw Material Intermediate
Precursor for preparing azulene-based soothing, anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidation cosmetic actives, applied in sensitive skincare, after-sun repair and calming personal care formulations.
