    3-(ethylphenylamino)propanenitrile (CAS 148-87-8) is an aromatic nitrile substituted aniline compound. It is a colorless to pale yellow / light brown oily liquid. It is insoluble in water and miscible with most organic solvents. Featuring stable chemical structure, good reactivity for diazotization reaction. It should be sealed and stored in cool, dry and ventilated warehouse, away from strong oxidants.

    Application

    Disperse Dye Intermediate (Main Usage)

    It is the key raw material for manufacturing monoazo disperse dyes, including Disperse Orange 25, 37, 50, 76, Disperse Red 73, 145, 181, disperse yellow brown series dyes. These dyes are extensively applied for dyeing and printing of polyester fabrics, blended synthetic textiles and plastic coloring.

    Organic Synthetic Building Block

    Can be used as synthetic precursor for other aromatic amine derivatives, fine chemicals via cyano group and tertiary amine modification.
