    (hydroxyethyl)urea, CAS 1320-51-0, is highly soluble in water and lower alcohols, and insoluble in oils and organic solvents. It is non-ionic, weakly acidic to neutral in nature, resistant to acids and alkalis, heat-resistant, and has excellent compatibility.

    Resin modification
    Used for modifying urea-formaldehyde resins, reducing free formaldehyde, and improving toughness and stability.
