    The field of materials synthesis

    Titanium dioxide preparation: As a "precursor", nano-titanium dioxide is prepared through the "sol-gel method" or "chemical vapor deposition (CVD)" (for use in coatings, catalysts, optoelectronic devices, etc.).

    Ceramic/glass coating: Titanium tetraisopropanolate, when compounded with other compounds, forms a high-hardness and high-temperature resistant titanium dioxide coating on the surface of ceramics and glass, enhancing the wear resistance and corrosion resistance of the materials.

    The field of industrial catalysis

    Titanium(IV) isopropoxide serves as a catalyst for esterification and transesterification reactions (such as accelerating reactions in the synthesis of polyester resins and flavors and fragrances).

    Titanium(IV) isopropoxide is used in "titanium catalytic reactions" in organic synthesis (such as asymmetric epoxidation, aldol condensation, etc.).
