Synthesis of inks, coatings, adhesives, textile dyeing and finishing auxiliaries, leather auxiliaries, waterproofing and oil-repellent agents, flow inhibitors, lubricating oil additives, and crude oil viscosity reducers.
1. Dual-functionality: Possesses both the highly reactive double bonds of methacrylate and a C18 long-chain alkyl group, allowing for free radical polymerization and copolymerization with various monomers (such as acrylates, styrene, acrylonitrile, etc.) to impart new functions to the polymer.
2. Low glass transition temperature (Tg≈-100℃): Provides excellent low-temperature flexibility, suitable for materials designed for cold environments.
3. Low viscosity: Offers good processing flowability when used as a monomer, facilitating mixing and handling.
4. Chemical stability: Resistant to hydrolysis, exhibits excellent thermal stability, with a flash point as high as 192℃, ensuring good safety.
