Sodium Perborate Tetrahydrate CAS 10486-00-7
Sodium Perborate Tetrahydrate (chemical formula:) NaBO₃ · 4H₂O is a white crystalline powder of inorganic peroxide. Its core characteristic is that it slowly releases oxygen under specific conditions (such as contact with water, heating or reaction with a catalyst), and it has both oxidizing properties and mild cleaning, bleaching and bactericidal capabilities. Due to its high safety and good stability, it is widely used in daily chemicals, textiles, medicine and other fields.

1. Daily chemical industry (the most core application)
Detergent powder/liquid detergent additive: As a "mild bleach", sodium perborate tetrahydrate is used to remove stubborn organic stains such as sweat, blood and fruit juice on clothes, and also has a bactericidal effect (especially suitable for cleaning underwear and baby clothes), and will not cause clothes to fade (friendly to natural fibers such as cotton and linen).
Teeth whitening products: Added to toothpaste, tooth powder or teeth whitening strips, they slowly release active oxygen to break down pigmentation on the surface of teeth (such as tobacco stains and tea stains), achieving gentle whitening and reducing irritation to the enamel.
2. Textile industry
Fabric bleaching: Sodium perborate tetrahydrate is used for the bleaching treatment of natural fiber fabrics such as cotton, linen and wool, especially suitable for light-colored fabrics that require mild bleaching agents, to prevent fiber brittleness.
Post-treatment after dyeing and printing: Remove the floating color of the fabric after dyeing, and improve the uniformity and color fastness of the dyeing.
✅Wide application value;
✅Mild performance;
✅Highly efficient and stable oxygen-based bleaching agent.
