Potassium methylsilicate is an organosilicon compound with the chemical formula CH₃Si(OK)₃, CAS 31795-24-1, which is produced by the reaction of Methylsilicic Acid with potassium hydroxide (KOH). Methyl potassium silicate is a type of silane coupling agent, featuring excellent waterproofing, weather resistance and bonding properties, and is widely used in building materials, coatings, ceramics and chemical industries.
