Potassium diformate (CAS 20642-05-1), a stable complex salt of formic acid and potassium formate, is a white crystalline feed acidifier to inhibit harmful bacteria and replace antibiotics, hygroscopic with a 12-month shelf life under sealed cool & dry storage.

1. Main application: Feed additives (dominant)
Feeds for weaned piglets, fattening pigs, poultry, aquatic animals, ruminants, as an alternative to antibiotics for promoting growth and acidification; reduces diarrhea rate, increases daily weight gain, and reduces ammonia emissions from feces. Can also be used as non-antibiotic feed additives, and has been approved as a feed additive category in China.
