    N,N-BIS(CARBOXYMETHYL)-L-GLUTAMIC ACID TETRASODIUM SALT (GLDA-4Na) is a light yellow transparent liquid, CAS number 51981-21-6. It is also known as tetrasodium glutamic acid dicarboxymethyl. Its chemical name is N.N-bis(carboxymethyl)-L-glutamic acid tetrasodium salt. Tetrasodium glutamate diacetate is a new green chelating agent that is biodegradable and can be used to replace ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA), diethyltriaminepentaacetic acid (DTPA), nitrogen traditional chelating agents such as NTA.
