Water treatment agent: Edta disodium salt dihydrate is one of the main uses. EDTA-2na is used in industrial circulating water, boiler water, swimming pool water, etc. By chelating Ca²⁺ and Mg²⁺ (hard water ions) in water, it prevents the formation of scale. At the same time, it chelates metal ions such as Fe³⁺ and Cu²⁺, preventing them from catalyzing the oxidation and deterioration of organic matter in water and reducing pipeline corrosion.
Metal processing: Edta-2na serves as a stabilizer for electroplating solutions (chelating metal ions to ensure uniform coating), a metal cleaner (removing oxides and scale from metal surfaces to prevent metal ions from interfering with cleaning effects), and a textile printing and dyeing assistant (chelating metal ions in water to prevent uneven dyeing of fabrics and a decline in color fastness).
