ATTAPULGITE clay ore is mainly composed of palygorskite as the main mineral component. In the chemical industry, it is mainly used as a coagulation inhibitor for urea and granular fertilizers, a processing aid for rubber, a clay thixotropic thickener for polyester resins, a carrier for pesticides, a catalyst for diaminophenylmethane and dichloroethane, a filler for plastics, and a bleaching agent for foaming agents. It is also widely used in industries such as coatings, petroleum, casting, building materials, papermaking, pharmaceuticals, printing, and environmental protection.
